This project mainly aims to develop innovative techniques for large scale production of lithium-ion batteries and electrical components with good performances and low cost for electrical car design and fabrication . The project will consist of the following research works:
1) manufacturing processes of lithium-ion cells with innovative techniques
2) the integration of cells into manageable battery modules and packs
3) Battery Management System design and fabrication
4) electric drivetrains design and fabrication
5) design and fabrication of a prototype of electric car .
The final objective of this project is to develop the Electric Car with low cost and increased power density and light weight .
