On 4-6 March 2008 Kielce Trade Fairs will host the 11th International Power Industry Fair ENEX, accompanied by the 6th Fair of Renewable Sources of Energy ENEX – NEW ENERGY.
IRC South Poland (Regional Centre for Innovation & Technology Transfer in Kielce) will organise the Renewable Energy Sources Brokerage Event on 6 March.
BE ENEX - New Energy will be an international brokerage event organised with the objective of helping European companies and organisations in the renewable energy sector to initiate transnational technology partnerships, which is substantial in view of increasing the share of energy from renewable sources in Poland's primary energy balance from 1.7% in 1999 to 9% in 2010 and 14% in 2020.
To achieve this goal, we collect and publish technology profiles from companies active in the renewable energy sector into an on-line catalogue for participants to browse through. Participants will then tell which profiles they are interested in. Based on this, we will schedule one-to-one meetings.
The ENEX 2007 trade fair was attended by both producers of conventional energy and companies specialising in the production of energy from renewable sources. What has been noticed this year is substantially increasing interest shown by both the exhibitors and visitors. Products and services were exhibited by 108 companies from 7 countries: Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Sweden, and Poland. The exhibition was visited by 4.000 people operating in the power industry (technicians, designers, chief power engineers, ministerial officials, as well as investors and representatives of local authorities from all over Poland).
The exhibition was accompanied by a whole range of seminars and specialist conferences and a panel session.
