Europäischer Brokerage Event 'Energy Efficient Building and Renovation Meetingpoint'

Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum, Partner of the Enterprise Europe Network Baden-Württemberg, will organise a European Meetingpoint with the Enterprise Europe Network and further networks and stakeholders in Stuttgart on 29th and 30th January 2009. The focus of this event is technologies in the area of „Energy Efficient Building and Renovation”. You will have the opportunity to meet potential European cooperation partners during pre-arranged appointments on two days, which aim to pave the way for future co-operations. The Meetingpoint “Energy Efficient Building and Renovation“ is a platform that enables initial contact between potential partners from all over Europe.
The Meetingpoint will take place in parallel to the International Trade Fair CEP� CLEAN ENERGY POWER 2009 (29.01.-31.01.09).

During the Meetingpoint in 2008 over 40 appointments took place and 32 organisation from 11 countries participated.

Technology focus of the Meetingpoint: 

• Passive House (ready built house modules, wall- and roof constructions, ecological building materials, windows, doors, fassades, house and heating technologies, services for quality ensurances) 
• Heating and cooling technologies 
• New Materials 
• New Technologies in the area of renovation 
• Supporting ICT in the are of construction and renovation 
•  Technologies in the area of renovation

The Meetingpoint is the ideal environment for companies and research institutes in the fields of energy efficient building and renovation, i.e architects, engineering offices, craftsmen, producers of any kind of related product and technology:
• offering and/or using innovative technologies / know-how
• looking for expertise and know-how in the areas of production, marketing and distribution
• offering application-oriented research results
• looking for partners for EU-funded projects.

Participants have the opportunity to get to know selected partners during individual discussions, which aim to pave the way for future co-operations.
